About the Founders
It began with a question. In June 2013, in Mumbai, two women asked a question that would change the way they looked at time. What if a watch could be more than something that simply tells time? At a time when the world was becoming faster, louder and increasingly digital, Pinal Jain and Shweta Totla found themselves drawn towards something quieter, something meaningful, personal and beautifully human. They imagined watches not merely as accessories, but as expressions of individuality. Pieces that could carry emotion, tell a story and become a part of the woman wearing them.And so, SPRIHA was born.
From the very beginning, every SPRIHA creation has been imagined differently. Inspired by stories, emotions, art and the beauty of individuality, each timepiece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted to feel less like a product and more like a piece of wearable art.SPRIHA was never created simply to measure time. It was created to give time a beautiful meaning.
The Women Behind SPRIHA
Pinal Jain
Co-Founder | Research & Design DirectionA professional rooted in Finance, Mutual Funds and Research, Pinal brings analytical depth and creative sensitivity together in shaping SPRIHA. She completed her education at MET’s AMDC Institution, specializing in Finance, and began her career as a Research Analyst and Client Investment Specialist at iFAST Financial Services India Pvt Ltd, Mumbai.
With a strong foundation in numbers and market understanding, Pinal’s journey took a natural yet unexpected turn towards design. Fashion and aesthetics were always an inherent part of her personality, and SPRIHA became the space where this creative instinct found expression.
Shweta Totla
Co-Founder | Finance, Strategy & DesignFrom number crunching to sketching a thought, Shweta’s journey reflects a seamless blend of analytical expertise and entrepreneurial instinct. She completed her education at N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management and built a strong foundation in financial markets through her role as a Derivative Trader in the Proprietary Division at Kotak Securities, where she worked for over eight years.
Well-versed in finance and driven by a deep desire to build something of her own, Shweta’s entrepreneurial vision became the driving force behind SPRIHA. Her transition from structured financial systems to creative entrepreneurship reflects her belief in following passion with discipline.
Together, Pinal and Shweta bring two distinct yet complementary worlds into SPRIHA; where creativity meets structure, and emotion meets precision.
